During the ArcInTex Network event held at The Swedish School of Textiles in Borås in April 2016, I participated in the Textile Interaction workshop, lead by Hanna Landin and Delia Dumitrescu. The aim of the workshop was to present participants with a “practice-based introduction to aesthetics of interaction design as seen through a Smart Textiles perspective”.
I worked together with Linnea Bågander (HB), Birgitta Cappelen (AHO) and Dovile Karvelyte (VAA) to explore the form and expressions of interactions. We created a “Textile Body Separator” where we could gradually embed and record changes relating to structure, volume, light and space.
